FAQ

Answers from the roast board

Practical questions about our specialty coffee café in Singapore — hours, allergens, seating, retail beans, PDPA and what we do not do.

Is RoastSpark a fireworks / pyrotechnics company, a cannabis brand, a marketing agency, an AI product, or does it guarantee the “#1 best coffee” in Singapore?

No. We are a specialty coffee café. “Roast” means coffee roasting; “Spark” means flavour development that still shows in the cup — not fireworks, not pyrotechnics, not cannabis, not an agency or software product. The .pro TLD is branding only. We do not claim medical benefits or guaranteed “#1” rankings — cups depend on crop, roast, grind, water and craft.

What are your hours and peak times?

Tuesday to Sunday 08:00–18:00 SGT; Monday closed. Weekday mornings are calmer for filter coffee and tasting talk; Saturday late morning is the busiest walk-in window at this Blair Road coffeehouse.

How do you handle menu dietary needs and allergens?

Tell us before ordering. Pastry and milk alternatives may contain dairy, gluten, nuts, eggs, soy and others. We prepare food on site; cross-contact is possible. We will not guess your allergy — ask the barista.

Is seating guaranteed? How long are waits?

Seats are limited. We do not promise zero wait. Takeaway cups are available when the room is full. For quieter visits, come earlier on weekdays or contact us about a tasting window.

Do you sell retail beans for home brew?

Yes, when resting windows are ready. Bags show roast date and a starting brew recipe. If a lot still needs rest, we will say so rather than rush the bag out.

How is my contact data handled (PDPA)?

Enquiry data is used to reply to you and to administer café operations as described in our Privacy Policy. The consent box on the form is not pre-ticked. Contact [email protected] for access or correction requests.

What do you not offer?

We do not sell fireworks, cannabis, marketing agency services, AI products, finance courses or medical claims about coffee. We do not guarantee “#1” rankings or identical flavour every visit.

Can I book a private tasting?

Small private cupping or tasting visits can be requested through the contact form. Availability depends on the cupping table and seating. We stay a neighbourhood specialty café first.

More practical answers

Parking near Blair Road can be limited; plan a walk from nearby stations when you can. Laptop camping through peak seating hours is discouraged when guests are waiting for tasting seats. Large groups should request a private window rather than arrive unannounced during Saturday rush. Gift cards exist only if stated at the till.

We re-dial espresso when Singapore humidity moves. Tell us if a milk drink tastes muted — we would rather remake than pretend. Filter recipes are posted for the roast on the board. Retail bags leave with roast dates; if rest is incomplete we will say wait. Contact form consent stays unticked until you choose; [email protected] handles PDPA requests.

Still wondering about fireworks or “#1” guarantees? We do not sell the first and we do not claim the second. Come for specialty coffee craft on Blair Road instead — that is the entire FAQ destination.

Retail, tastings and contact timing

Retail beans are sold when rest makes sense. Ask for grind advice if you brew espresso or pour-over at home. Private cupping enquiries should arrive through the contact form with preferred dates; we reply during opening hours after the café can write carefully. Urgent allergen questions are best asked in person at the counter before you order pastry or milk drinks.

We are closed Mondays. Messages sent late Sunday are answered from Tuesday. That rhythm protects craft on the days we roast, rest and brew for walk-in guests at this Singapore specialty café.
