Roast board

Café menu with roast dates, not theatre

This specialty coffee café menu lists espresso, filter coffee, pour-over, batch brew, tasting flights, pastry pairings and retail beans. Prices are indicative in SGD and shift with crop and stock. Flavour depends on roast profile, grind, extraction and barista craft — we do not guarantee identical cups or “#1” rankings.

R-01 · Espresso & milk drinks

Espresso that still shows origin under milk

Our espresso bar dials specialty coffee shots through the Singapore humidity, then textures milk for flat whites, cappuccinos and longer milk drinks. A morning pour that tasted bright at 08:30 should still read as the same roast profile at 11:00 — if it does not, we re-grind and re-time. Indicative band S$4.50–S$7.50. Ask which single-origin is on espresso today; batch tags sit beside the board.

Milk alternatives are available; tell us about allergies before we steam. We prepare drinks on site at this Blair Road coffeehouse with counter service and takeaway cups.

R-02 · Single-origin filter & pour-over

Filter coffee for guests who stay with the cup

Pour-over and manual filter recipes are written for the roast on the board. We chase clarity after first crack development — citrus that held past three minutes on one Ethiopian lot, chocolate depth on a washed Central American roast rested longer than the cooling tray suggested. Indicative S$6–S$9. Water temperature, grind and bloom are adjusted when the cup drifts. This is specialty café filter coffee, not a tasting theatre with medals we never won.

R-03 · Batch brew of the day

Batch brew that keeps notes through the afternoon

Batch brew exists for walk-in guests who want a clean cup without waiting for a full pour-over. We refresh vessels when flavour dulls; we do not leave a tired pot on the warmer as a “house blend story”. Ask for the roast date and resting window. Indicative pricing sits near the filter band and is posted daily at the Blair Road counter.

R-04 · Seasonal roast flights / tastings

Flights when resting windows align

When three rested lots can speak beside each other, we offer a small roast flight at the cupping table or quiet seats. You will hear about roast profile and brew recipe, not fabricated champion titles. Private tastings can be requested via the contact form; walk-in flights depend on stock. Seating is limited in this neighbourhood specialty café.

Pastry pairing with coffee at RoastSpark

R-05 · Pastry & light bites

Pastry that pairs without burying the spark

Butter pastry, seasonal tarts and light bites are chosen to sit beside filter coffee and espresso, not to dominate them. Items may contain dairy, gluten, nuts, eggs, soy and other allergens — please ask our team before ordering if you have allergies or dietary needs. Menus change with bakery supply. We prepare food on site in a shared café kitchen; cross-contact is possible.

R-06 · Retail beans

Rested bags for home brew

Take home specialty coffee with roast date, suggested resting window and a starting brew recipe for pour-over or espresso. Bags leave only when rest makes sense — we would rather say “not yet” than sell a loud cooling-tray smell that goes flat in your kitchen. Ask about grind if you brew on a home machine; we will match the bag on the roast board.
